Clickzy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Appstic Labs ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Clickzy mobile application (the "App"). Clickzy is designed around a simple principle: your photos belong to you, in storage you control.

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run the App:

  • Account information (hosts). When you sign in with Google to create films, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
  • Guest information. Guests join a film with an invite code and a display name. No account, email or phone number is required to participate as a guest.
  • Event content. Film names, cover images, event schedules, guest lists and photo metadata (for example which guest took a photo and when).
  • Photos. Photos taken in the App are uploaded to the host's own Google Drive. We process photos in transit (and hold short-lived copies in server caches to speed up delivery), but Google Drive is the system of record — not our servers.
  • Diagnostics. Basic technical logs (such as crash reports and API errors) used to keep the App reliable.

2. Google Drive integration

When a host connects Google Drive, Clickzy requests narrowly-scoped access to create and manage a Clickzy folder in the host's Drive. We use this access only to:

  • Create a folder per film (for example, Clickzy / My Wedding).
  • Upload photos taken by guests during the event.
  • Retrieve photos to display them in the App's gallery.
  • Delete photos when a host or guest deletes them in the App.

We never browse, read or modify other files in your Google Drive. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use information

  • To operate films, invitations, galleries and photo reveals.
  • To sync photos to the host's Google Drive.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug problems.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your photos for advertising or to train AI models.

4. Sharing of information

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Within a film. Photos and display names are visible to the film's host and, depending on the host's gallery settings, to other guests.
  • Service providers. Infrastructure providers (such as hosting) that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Legal. When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data retention

  • Photos live in the host's Google Drive and remain there under the host's control until the host deletes them.
  • Server-side photo caches are short-lived and bounded; cached copies expire automatically.
  • Account and event records are retained while your account is active and deleted upon account deletion (see below).

6. Your rights and choices

  • Access & deletion. You can delete individual photos in the App, or delete your entire account and data — see our Delete Account page.
  • Revoke Drive access. Hosts can revoke Clickzy's Google Drive access at any time from their Google Account permissions.
  • Questions. Contact contact@appsticlabs.com for any privacy request. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Clickzy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), scoped OAuth tokens, signed URLs for photo access, and least-privilege infrastructure access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, and the "Last updated" date will always reflect the current version.
